The stunning colour story instantly attracted my attention, and I couldn’t wait to dive into this palette and explore its potential.
In this review, I will take you on a captivating adventure through the mesmerizing shades, texture, application, and overall performance of the W7 Sweet Nectar Eyeshadow Palette. Whether you’re an experienced makeup artist or a makeup newbie, this palette promises to unlock your artistic prowess and infuse a burst of freshness into your beauty routine.
The W7 Sweet Nectar Collection
Before I go to the eyeshadow palette, I would like to mention the other products included in this collection. All the collections share similar packaging and they are all equally amazing. If I am asked to choose one single product, I am really in trouble, as I love all of them.
Complementing the eyeshadow palette, this collection included a Bronzer and Highlighter duo, a Blush and a Lipstick.
The bronzer in the duo is a warm, golden-hued powder with a fine texture. This product is a seamless application that accentuates your natural complexion with a subtle, healthy-looking tan. It has a buildable formula which allows to customize the intensity of the colour applied.
Complementing the bronzer is the highlighter. This pearlescent powder gives you a subtle shine to your cheekbones, bridge of your nose, cupid’s bow, and brow bones.
The blush has a velvety-smooth texture that glides effortlessly onto the skin. It allows a seamless application without any patches. The Sweet Nectar Blush is a long-lasting blush. My cheeks remain beautifully blushed throughout the day, even if I go to the gym. The main problem with this blush is the shimmer in the formula. This product is something between a blush and a highlighter. I will review this blush in a further post.
This formula of the Sweet Nectar Lipstick glides effortlessly onto the lips, providing a creamy and velvety texture that feels comfortable and moisturizing. It is highly pigmented lipstick which offers full coverage while keeping the lips hydrated and moisturised.

My thoughts about the W7 Sweet Nectar eyeshadow palette
About the packaging
This collection has one of the cutest packaging I’ve ever seen. The eyeshadow palette comes in a cardboard pack with a blue background. It has printouts of sunflowers and a hummingbird. This design is adorable.
It comes with a small mirror inside. I know that the mirror is important for some people, but I don’t really care about it. I normally don’t use the mirror included in the palettes. In fact, I prefer a plain full cardboard pack as it is recyclable and more eco-friendly.
The palette has grams of product contained in 14 pans. Two of the pans are bigger than the rest. One of them has an engraved hummingbird and the other has the W7 Cosmetics logo. The remaining pans are the same size and have nothing engraved.
About the shades
The shades contained in this palette remains me a lot of the Too Femme Palette that Too Faced launched last year.
This palette is a combination of brown, pink and pastel colours. Out of the 14 pans, nine have a matte or satin finish and the other five have a shimmer eyeshadow.
I am going to describe the shades from the left-up corner to the right-bottom one.
- Cream matte. This shade comes in a big pan. That is really nice as this is the shade I use almost for every look. I like to use a cream matte shade to set the eyeshadow primer over the full lid.
- Champagne shimmer. In the pan, this shade looks brown with violet bits. However, when you apply it, the shade is champagne.
- Pale Green Shimmer
- Pastel Green matte
- Lavender matte
- Medium brown with warm undertone matte
- Dark brown with a warm undertone matte
- Dusty rose matte
- Orange to pink shimmer
- Orange matte
- Pink shimmer
- Deep pink matte
- Deep pink shimmer
- Bronze matte. This is the ideal shade to apply as a transition shade in any look. It comes in a big pan.
How do the shades behave?
The matte shades are quite dusty. My advice when using this palette is to make up the eyes before the face. While doing it that way, you can easily remove all the fall-out.
In general, they are well-pigmented. Only the pastel green and lavender shades have lower pigmentation. However, that is something expected for this type of colour. They are buildable, so you can apply layer over layer until you get the desired intensity.
All the matte shades blend easily.
The shimmer shades are creamy with almost no fall-out. The deep pink shimmer shade is a good shade to use over a naked lid. However, I feel that the remaining shimmer shades perform better if you use them as a topper. The reason I say that is because they almost don’t have a base colour. They will look more intense and better when applied over another eyeshadow.
I can apply them directly over the lid. I don’t need to use eyeshadow primer or glitter glue underneath the shimmer shades. When I apply it with a dry flat brush, I get a subtle shimmer effect. However, when I apply them with a wet brush or with my finger, I get an impressive reflection on my lids.
About the wearing time
Before I mention anything about how long these shades last on my lid, I should make a disclaimer. In general, all the makeup and especially the eyeshadows last a long time on my skin, independently of the brand or price of it.
After having said this, I should mention that some eyeshadows stay perfect on my lid whereas others, despite staying on my lid, start to blur, fade, crease or fall out at some point.
These eyeshadows stay over my lid all day perfectly. At night, they are just as they were when I applied them. There are no signs of blur, crease or fading, even if I go to the gym.
Of course, people with a different skin type may experience something different and that is the reason why you should read other people’s reviews before buying any product.
Some look I made with this palette.
