Project Pan Challenge March Update

I have made good progress in every project pan challenge I am doing this year during the month of March. I’ve used some products an impressive number of times and I am going to roll out 7 products across all the project pans I am running.

Let’s see them one by one.

Beauty A to Z Project Pan Challenge

As I mentioned in the intro post, this project pan consists of choosing a product starting by or containing each one of the alphabet letters. I did my selection at the beginning of the year. In this project, I am not going to roll in any new product after completing an objective. I will only do that if I achieve the goal for all the products before the end of the year.

By the end of March, I am rolling out 4 products, I’ve used 11 of the chosen products and I have still 13 products untouched.

Child of the 80’s

This project pan is organized by the Facebook group Pantastic Ladies Collabs. Last month I rolled out the Brow Pen and rolled in the Hawaiian Tropic SPF 30 lotion (prompt 37 – We Are the World (USA For Africa) – a universal product that anyone can use (credit Stephanie @foo_pans). This month I rolled out two more products, B. Cleansing Balm and Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask.

I generated other two random numbers which are 43 and 68, which correspond to the prompts:

43 – “We’re gonna pump (clap) you up!” – a product with a pump

68 – Pat Benatar – a bright or dark cheek product (credit Stephanie @foo_pans)

I selected CeraVe Day Cream SPF 25 (finish) for prompt 43 and W7 Honolulu Bronzer (use 10 times) for prompt 68. CeraVe day cream SPF 25 comes with a delivery pump and the bronzer is a dark cheek product.

Prompt 45: Can’t Buy Me Love – a product that was a free gift with purchase

Tarte Blush – use 15 times: I used it once (overall usage 3 times)

Prompt 57: Ghostbusters (“He slimed me!”) – something green

Laneige Cica Sleeping Mask – I finished it this month and I rolled it out.

Prompt 73: We Are the World (USA For Africa) – a universal product that anyone can use

Lip Project Pan Challenge

This is the first month I advance with this project pan. I am going to introduce one change, I am going to swap the lip scrub for the Essence Lip Peeling. I recently read that it is not good to scrub the lips’ skin with physical abrasive exfoliators and I don’t want to do that again, just in case. Instead, I will use lip peeling and see how it goes.

I rolled out one product, which means I can roll in another lip product. I reached the goals for the Revolution lipstick and the selected product is another lipstick, this time Catrice Demi Matt Lipstick in the shade 020. The list, therefore, looks like this:

  • Laneige Lip Sleep Mask – Finish
  • Lip Scrub – Swapped for the Essence Lip Peeling – Use 8 times a month.
  • Carmex – Use 10 times
  • Revolution Lipstick – Use 10 times – Rolled out
  • Banshher Lipstick – Use 10 times – I used it 4 times this month and 7 times from the beginning of the project pan
  • Catrice Demi Matt Lipstick 020 – Rolled-in – Use 10 times

In summary, I am happy this month. I rolled out/achieved goals for so many products and I am going to start new ones. That will motivate me more and that is why I prefer to set small goals but use more variety of products.

How did you do this month? Let me know in the comments.
