2020 Empties III Wednesday 30 December 2020 I cannot believe we are at the end of the year. Last year by this time I even didn’t think about writing about beauty. It was only around Easter time when I started thinking on the idea to have a beauty blog and it took me few month to shape the idea and give birth to this blog. That is why I don’t keep track of all the 2020 empties. I started to keep the empties to show only after creating the blog, around June-July. At the beginning, I was keeping only skincare and makeup product but later I started to keep also products as shower gel, deodorants, etc. This is the third Empties post I write this year. I posted the fist one in July and the second part in November. I invite you to read them if you want to read about all what I finished half of this 2020. That…
Glossybox and Lookfantastic Advent Calendars Review
Glossybox and Lookfantastic Advent Calendars Review Sunday, 27 December 2020 I am going to review today the Advent Calendars I unboxed this year. You should agree with me that this Christmas had been strange and having one or two surprises each day helps a bit. After looking at different branded and multi-brand Advent Calendars and read reviews about the content of previous years, I decided to go for Glossybox and Lookfantastic Advent Calendars. They are both multibrand, 25-days calendars. Price was similar, £80 for Glossybox and £70 for Lookfantastic (I am subscribed to both beauty boxes). Both calendars came in a reusable box. Glossybox will store some of my makeup while Lookfantastic box already keeps my embroidery threads. I don’t want to write a huge post so I am going to list the content of each calendar day by day and, after that, I will let you know my favourite products and what I think of each box. Glossybox Advent…
Merry Christmas
I Heart Revolution Fantasy Makeup Pigment Palette Unicorn Review
I Heart Revolution Fantasy Makeup Pigment Palette Unicorn Review Sunday, 06 December 2020 Sometimes, we buy a product because all the reviews we read about it say that it is a good product, good quality, works well, etc and then, when we try ourselves, we realize that, on our skin, it doesn’t work that well. That is what happened with the eyeshadow palette I am going to review today. I love unicorns and I couldn’t avoid loving this palette when I saw it. I look for info and reviews and all that I read said that it was a lovely palette. As it was at a reduced price, I bought it. I didn’t use it for months but when I used it I became very disappointed. Do you want to know why? Continue reading then. The palette is the Fantasy Makeup Pigment Palette Unicorn by I Heart Revolution. It is a nine pan eyeshadow palette in the pink and…
Makeup Product: Which comes first?
Makeup Product: Which comes first? Sunday, 29 November 2020 Foundation, highlighter, blush, concealer, eyeshadows,…… The number of products available to build up our makeup looks can be overwhelming. We love makeup and some of us use makeup daily. Makeup makes us feel pretty and gives us the self-assurance we need to face our day to day tasks (or at least is like that for me….). But there are lots of products to apply and the order in which we apply them can make a huge difference in the final result. I am going to share with you the order I follow. I am sure different people will apply the products in a different order and what works for me maybe will not work for you, but the order I am going to mention in this post is the one I found better for me after trying different ways of applying makeup. There is an infography at the end, click…
