July’s Empties

Hello Everybody!

This is the first post I am going to write about my empties. Before I started with this blog I used to bin the empty products straight away but I am keeping them to show you what I finish each month and to tell you if I like enough for buy them again or  not.

Most of my empties this month are skincare products with only a couple of makeup items. Well, I think it is normal as I use different makeup products but I use the skincare products until the pack is finished to see how they perform.

That is all what I finished in July (from left up corner to right bottom one):

Revolution Hyaluronic Fixing Spray. It is not a bad fixing spray though I will not buy again as I don’t like how the spray comes out. It comes as quite big droplets that leave my skin very wet.

L’Oreal True Match Foundation. I have been using this foundation for more than 5 years and it is still one of my favourite foundations. I use the shade 3.N. It is a full coverage foundation with skincare ingredients. It is good if you have dry skin as I have. I bought a new one that I already started. I will be writing a review shortly.

The Body Shop Wild Argan Oil Hand Cream. I like the smell but it is not very good for very dry hands as mine are. I have two more hand cream of this collection in different smell (Satsuma orange and moringa flowers) that I bought in a 3 for 2 offer. I want to use them during summer when my hands are not as dry as in winter.

Simple Moisturizing Facial Wash. It is not the best facial wash I tried but it is not bad for the morning routine. I like mainly for the travels, when most of the time I don’t use makeup, so I will buy again surely.

Garnier Micellar Clenasing Water. This product is one of my MUST HAVE list. I don’t use micellar water in my morning or evening routine but I always use it when I go to the gym.. For the reasons all of you know, I am not going now and that bottle was in my gym bag and was very close to expire. I finished it as I hate to waste and I am sure I am going to buy this product again, in this travel size, as soon as my gym re-opens.

Simple Eye makeup Remover. It is very gentle with my eyes (I wear contact lenses and my eyes are bit sensitive) but I prefer to use a biphasic eye makeup remover because I normally use waterproof mascara. I am not going to buy this one again.

Nivea Refreshing Toner. I am definitively not going to buy this product again. I hate the smell and, on top of that, it is not working well on my skin. It leaves a dry feeling on my skin and doesn’t leave the refreshing feeling they promise.

Yves-Rocher Hydra Vegetal Toner. I love this product and I already started a new bottle. The problem is that Yves Rocher doesn’t deliver anymore to UK and I need to buy it when I go to Spain (in case I didn’t mention before, I am Spanish but live in UK) and for the moment, because of the quarantine when coming back, I cannot travel to Spain. Maybe my mum can send me a parcel with some Yves Rocher products. I have been using this brand for 20 years and I love it.

And these are all my empties this month. I have now an empty basket waiting to be refilled with next month’s empties.

Let me know what product did you finish this month.

I love beauty and skincare, try new products, and share my opinion with you. All my knowledge comes from years of experience and reading articles. I have dry skin, Fitzpatrick type IV, warm undertone, and my main concern is hyperpigmentation. Keep in mind that what works for me may not work for you.
