The ultrasonic facial scrubber is a device that is increasing popularity. I heard about it some time back, but because of the price, I never bought it. Recently I got the opportunity to try one of the ANLAN devices and I didn’t miss the opportunity.

I am obsessed with having a clean face. I use makeup every day and I do a triple face cleansing with an oil cleanser, face wash and a soft scrub every night as part of my routine. This ultrasonic spatula helps to keep my face clean as it eliminates dirt from inside the pores in a very easy and quick way.

When ANLAN contacted me to offer the opportunity to try this device I became very happy. I was tempted a few times to try these devices but never decided because I didn’t know which one could be good. ANLAN is a professional beauty brand focused on technology skincare. Since it was founded in 2014, they have been researching cutting-edge technology to improve skincare. They develop different technology skincare products that go through rigorous tests before going to the market.

I got the Waterproof Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber in black (it is available in two colours: black and white). This is a waterproof facial spatula, cordless and chargeable by USB. It is ergonomic and lightweight.

How to use ANLAN Ultrasonic Skin Scrubber

1. Open your pores with steam for better performance
2. Wet your skin, never use it in dry skin
3. Move the spatula in the desired mode following the motions shown in the figure
4. Clean it with rubbing alcohol after use

My experience using ANLAN Facial Spatula

How do I use it

I am not using it in SONIC mode every day as makes moderate exfoliation and it is not convenient to exfoliate the skin daily. I am using it twice a week for cleaning the face and mostly every day to help my creams penetrate the skin.

SONIC Mode.

CLEAN (Positive Ion Mode). 

After the SONIC mode, I use the spatula in the CLEAN mode for deeper cleansing. Again don’t forget to wet your face. I like to use my toner in this step.

MOIST (Positive Ion Mode). 

After cleaning my face, I apply my toner and my serum. I like to use the spatula in the MOIST mode to help the nutrients in my serum penetrate my skin and increase their effectiveness.

MASSAGE Mode (Ultrasound plus Hot Compress). 

It is a pulsing mode. I use this mode after applying my moisturising. This pulsing mode promotes collagen and elastin regeneration and makes small wrinkles look smoother. It is like a lifting effect.

LIFT Mode (Negative Ion). 

That mode helps your skin to look tighten and reduce wrinkles’ appearance. I do as the last step with my anti-aging cream.

It may seem to be a long process, but you can finish it in around 15 minutes. We deserve that small time for ourselves, don’t you think?

I am surprised by this device, I like so much more than expected. I thought it was going to be uncomfortable or irritating for my skin. Obviously, as with any physical scrub, my face is a bit red after using the scrubber but the redness doesn’t last long. As it is waterproof I use it for cleaning while I am getting my shower, which helps me to save some time. It has a long-lasting battery, I am using it for almost a month now, and still, I didn’t charge it. It is very handy for everyday use and small and light enough to carry with you when you travel. Well, once we are allowed to travel again, but that is another story.

In summary, after a month using this device, my skin is clean, soft, and smooth. It looks healthier and dewy, which was a challenge for me as my skin is very dry. Not only I can see the effect but also makeup sits better and my skin looks with life. I will continue using this spatula and I recommend it if you don’t have sensitive skin.
