Recently Lidl launched a new skincare and body care collection called Skin Foodies. They launched the products a month ago in Poland and Spain supermarkets and last week I found some of the products here in UK. I do not know if it will be a permanent collection or if it is only a limited edition, sometimes Lidl launch limited edition products which become permanent if people like them.
This collection is vegan and cruelty free. The products on this collection have at least 90% of organic natural ingredients and they are advertising them as food for your skin. The collection has some skincare and some bodycare products.
This post is not a review. I have only few bodycare products but I am not going to give my opinion about them yet. To write a good review you need to try the products for at least two weeks and I got these products only couple of days back. I will do the review once I have tried them for enough time. I am going to introduce you the collection with the brand promises. Pictures are not mine and are from lidl.pl website.
Let us start with the products.
Nourishing hand cream with Papaya, all skin types, especially very dry, rough and sensitive skin. 50 mL
Intensively regenerates rough and damaged skin. Moisturizes, nourishes and restores comfort to the hands. It has a light formula, which is quickly absorbed and a fruity fragrance.
Intensively and long-lastingly, this cream moisturizes the skin. It soothes irritations. Leaves hands silky smooth. As the papaya hand cream, it has a light formula, which is quickly absorbed and has a tea aroma.
Rejuvenating hand cream with wild rose, all skin types, especially skin with signs of age. 50 mL
It has extract of flowers and rose-hips. Intensively soothes and firms the skin. Unifies its colour. Restores beautiful and young appearance to the hands. It has a light formula and rose fragrance
3-in-1 micellar water with clove for face, eyes and lips , all skin types. 200 mL
It has plant extract of clove flower, an antioxidant rich in essential oils, tannin and flavonoids. It is antiseptic and soothes irritations. It does not require rinsing, without unpleasant rubbing even removes waterproof mascara and permanent makeup. It is suitable for contact lens wearers.
3-in-1 micellar water with mauve for face, eyes and lips make-up removal, dry and sensitive skin. 200 mL
It has plant extract of mauve flowers, rich in flavonoids and tannin. It helps maintain an optimal level of skin hydration, soothes irritations and strengthens blood vessels. Works like a compress, restores the skin’s feeling of comfort and relief. It removes waterproof mascara and permanent makeup and it is suitable for people wearing contact lenses.
Nourishing face cream with Macadamia oil, dry and sensitive skin. 50 mL
It has macadamia oil from nut seeds, rich in vitamins A, E and B. It nourishes, regenerates, soothes irritations and redness. It protects the skin against the harmful effects of external factors. Provides a velvety smooth skin feeling. The skin looks beautiful and radiant all day long. It is a light, quickly absorbing formula with a pleasant aroma which does not leave an oily layer on the skin.
24 H Moisturizing face cream with cotton, normal and combination skin. 50 mL
It has plant extract of cotton seeds, rich in many proteins and carbohydrates. Restores the balance of the skin and protects it from the harmful effects of external factors. It optimally and long-lastingly moisturizes the skin for up to 24 hours. The skin looks beautiful and fresh all day long. It is a light, quickly absorbing formula with a pleasant aroma which does not leave an oily layer on the skin.
Facial cleansing gel with coconut, normal, combination and oily skin. 150 mL
Discover coconut shells with that gel, a source of natural peeling particles that deeply cleanse and exfoliate the skin. Removes blackheads, unblocks pores and reduces their visibility. Smoothes imperfections. Reduces excess sebum and prevents skin from shining. It leaves a feeling of freshness. It does not contain soap, does not leave the feeling of pinched skin and it is fat-free.
Facial Cleansing Gel with quince, dry and sensitive skin 150 mL
It has quince fruit extract, rich in antioxidants, B vitamins, provitamin A and vitamin C as well as minerals. It soothes irritations and strengthens blood vessels. Softens, soothes and refreshes. It brings relief to dry and sensitive skin, restoring its balance, hydration and radiance. It does not contain soap, does not leave the feeling of pinched skin and it is fat-free.
Anti-wrinkle face day cream with wild rose, skin with signs of age. 50 mL
It has extract of wild rose flowers and rosehips, rich in vitamin C and antioxidants. Brightens discoloration, unifies the skin tone, protects against external factors and reduces the visibility of blood vessels. Regenerates and smoothes wrinkles. Creamy body wash gel with babassu oil, all skin types. 200 mL
It has babassu nut oil, rich in vitamins, minerals and fatty acids. It slows down the loss of water from the skin and strengthens its protective barrier. Optimally moisturizes and soothes irritations. Removes impurities from the skin. It reduces the feeling of tension and tightness. Firms, improves the elasticity and appearance of the skin. It has a nourishing formula, does not contain soap and does not leave a feeling of tight skin
Smoothing gel body scrub with green tea, skin lacking firmness 200 mL
It has green tea leaf extract, rich in polyphenols and vitamins B and C. It has antioxidant and anti-aging properties. Accelerates fat metabolism. Intensively and pleasantly smoothes the skin and improves its firmness. It optimally moisturizes and restores the feeling of skin nutrition. It has a peeling and washing formula, it does not contain soap and does not leave the feeling of tight skin
Firming body serum-booster with green coffee, skin lacking firmness, especially with signs of cellulite 200 mL
It has green coffee seed oil, rich in antioxidants, caffeine, polyphenols and cassantine. It reduces fat tissue, stimulates blood circulation. Slimming and soothing. Tones. Reduces the visibility of the “orange skin”. Restores skin smoothness, softness and radiance. It has a light formula which absorbs quickly and does not leave an oily layer on the skin
Moisturizing body lotion with almond oil, normal and dry skin 200 mL
It has sweet almond seed oil, rich in vitamins A, B1, B2, B6, E, D, antioxidants, linoleic acid and Omega 6 acids. Sweet almond seed oil helps maintain optimal skin hydration. Nourishes and soothes irritations. Protects against overdrying and reduces the roughness of the skin. Supports regeneration and gives a radiant look. It has a light formula which absorbs quickly and does not leave an oily layer on the skin
Facial mask-peeling cleansing with black carbon and lemongrass 6 ml + Facial mask refreshing with green clay and cucumber 6 ml, all skin types, especially skin with imperfections
This masks come in two different sachets, which can be both applied over all the face or you can apply one in the T-zone and the other on the rest of the face.
Treatment 1. It has black carbon with absorption properties and lemongrass extract rich in essential oils. Reduces visibility of pores and blackheads. It leaves the skin smooth and soft. Indicated for the T-zone.
Treatment 2. It has green clay rich in minerals and cucumber extract rich in vitamins. Prevents blackheads and imperfections. Unifies the skin tone and mattifies. Provides a feeling of freshness and refreshment. Indicated for the main parts of the face (cheeks and chin).
Facial mask-peeling cleansing with white clay and rosemary 6 ml + Enzymatic facial mask-peeling with papaya 6 ml, all skin types, especially skin lacking radiance
It is again a double treatment.
Treatment 1. It has white clay rich in minerals and rosemary leaf extract rich in antioxidants. It reduces imperfections and blackheads. Matts and regulates sebum production.
Treatment 2. It has papaya fruit extract rich in vitamins and exfoliating enzymes. Smoothes rough skin and roughness. Supports regeneration and improves its flexibility. It leaves it radiant and bright.
