My Top 5 Online Beauty Stores

Disclosure: Bear in mind that some of the links in this post are affiliate links and if you go through them to make a purchase I will earn a commission. Keep in mind that I link these companies and their products because of their quality and not because of the commission I receive from your purchases. The decision is yours, and whether or not you decide to buy something is completely up to you.

I like to buy skincare and makeup products in physical stores, where I can (or I could) hold the products on my hands, open and smell, swatch in the case of makeup, etc. You are never going to know if you like the product or not, but, at least, you get a first impression about what you are buying.

When the pandemic came to the world, it brought the lockdown in most of the countries. We are left with only one choice of buying anything online, especially cosmetics.

I started buying online, as did many people and at that point, buying in an online retail store. When buying online,  trust becomes very important. I found a few shops that I can trust and bought most of the products I want to keep in stock. Here is a list of my trusted shops.

Just My Look

In Just My Look, you can find makeup, skin and body care products, hair products, supplements and even candles and fragrances for home. You can buy high end brands’ products but most of the brands you can find in that shop are affordable to some extent.

They have free delivery within the UK, independent of how much you spend and they ship the product very fast, within 1 or 2 days.

Lookfantastic

You can buy makeup and skin, body and hair care products. They have a monthly subscription box which is a really good one. In November, they sell an Advent Calendar which is worth the money it costs, affordable and includes products of high end brands.

The type of brands you can find in Lookfantastic is a mixture of affordable and high end. You can buy products from Revolution Beauty as well as from Urban Decay.

They have very interesting discounts most of the week. Delivery charges start from £2.95 or £1.95 click & collect, but they have free delivery on orders above £25. Your haul is delivered fast and it is with you in about 72 hours.

You can get credit to spend in Lookfantastic when you review Glossybox products.

Beauty Bay

Beauty Bay is also a very interesting shop. Most of the brands you can find here are not so affordable, but they have their own brand, By Beauty Bay, which is good quality with an affordable price.

They have a huge variety and options for anything you want to buy, so this is the shop I go to when I want to buy something unusual.

Delivery charges are £2.95 but it is free on orders over £25, which is very easy to reach. All the deliveries are tracked.

Cult Beauty

That is the shop I use least because it is the most expensive. As per the name, they have products from cult brands, and you will not find affordable products in that shop.

I like this shop because you can find brands which you cannot find in other shops in the UK, such as Hourglass, Drunk Elephant, IT Cosmetics or Milk makeup.

They have more than 100 mini size products of well-known and expensive brands, very useful when you don’t want to spend £50 in a blush……

Standard delivery is £3.95 but it is free over £20. I can assure that you will spend £20 on a single product, so mostly you will get free delivery.

Notino

This shop is the other side of Cult Beauty as most of the brands you get here are affordable. Again you can buy in Notino products hard to find in other retailers in the UK such as Ziaja.

Delivery charges are £3.99 and something I don’t like about that shop is that they take a long time in shipping your haul.

Brand’s Sites

When I want to make a haul of a single brand I try to do it on the brand’s website. They will have more variety of products and sometimes they also have interesting offers. Not all the brands have delivery to the UK (for example Catrice), but it is something I do for example when I buy from Revolution Beauty, Technic, Urban Decay, Too Faced, and others.

These are my favourite online shops and all of my makeup and cosmetic products come from one of them. To finish with this post, I am going to share my tips to save money with you. I have a wishlist on each website and when they have any sort of offers or discounts that apply to products on my wishlist, I order them. Doing that, I am always saving money on beauty products.

Do you buy from any of these shops? Which one do you use more? Let me know in the comments, I like to discover new shops.

I love beauty and skincare, try new products, and share my opinion with you. All my knowledge comes from years of experience and reading articles. I have dry skin, Fitzpatrick type IV, warm undertone, and my main concern is hyperpigmentation. Keep in mind that what works for me may not work for you. We are all different and products can have different results on your skin. Want to talk? Email me at contact@irenebeautyandmore.com
