January’s Subscription Boxes

In my last post about subscription boxes last year, I mentioned that I was going to cancel the subscription to a couple of boxes and again this month I am coming with four boxes to show. What happened is that I got three or six months subscriptions and I can only cancel after that period. That will be happening soon.

In the meanwhile, I am going to show you what I got this month in my four boxes.

Lookfantastic Beauty Box

The edit this month talks about Cica and trending ingredients for 2021. It includes also few tips for a month of mindfulness, something really convenient during this third lockdown.

Starskin – Hollywood Hand Model. Full size

It is a hand mask which hydrates hands and cuticles using a new technology that produces a “sauna effect”. It has a blend of 16 botanicals extracts and oils such as shea butter, goji berry, macadamia nut, olive oil, liquorice and peony roots among others.

SVR – Hydraline Intense Moisturising Cream. 40 mL

A facial moisturiser for very dry and sensitive skin. It keeps the skin moisturised for up to 24 hours and it is hypoallergenic

Grow Gorgeous – Balance Overnight Mask. 30 mL

That is an overnight mask for your hair. It enhances shine, reduces frizz, locks-on moisture and leaves your hair silky. Contains oat lipids, Hyaluronic acid, Rapeseed oil, Acai and Sweet Almond oils and it is blended with green tea extract.

Sleek – Matte Me Liquid Lipstick. Full size

It is a liquid lipstick with amatte finish. It is a long-lasting colour that doesn’t flake or dry during the day.

So Eco – Complexion Sponge. Full Size

It is an eco-friendly sponge to apply cream and liquid products. Like all this type of sponge, you should use it damp.

Dr Botanicals – Avocado and Cucumber Cleansing Bar. Full Size

A cleansing soap to purify face and body, though I will use it mainly for my hands. It is infused with calming ingredients such as avocado and cucumber to nourish and soften the skin.

Roccabox

The “Go, Girl” box is packed with products to invigorate the body, repair the skin, elevate the routine and nourish the soul. There are 5  products included, and what I like is that four of them are full size and the other one is travel size. Normally, you don’t see sample size in the Roccabox.

Doctor Formula – Probiotic Overnight Repairing Serum. Full Size

This is the “Hero Product” and has different functions. Probiotics are responsible for repairing damage, boost the skin’s defence against free radical and pollution and help to fight acne. This serum contains also exfoliating ingredients.

Shea Bliss – Cherry Bomb Body Butter. Travel Size

This product is a good body butter to keep your skin hydrated in the wintertime. It has a cream texture, buttery formula and a lovely smell that lifts your spirit.

Mudmasky – Hair Mask, Scalp Treatment and Miracle Shampoo. Full Size

Hair and scalp also suffer the effects of cold weather and heating and can become really dry and itchy. This product strengths and repairs the hair leaving a comfortable feeling in the scalp.

Skimono – Total Conditioning foot Mask. Full Size

Feet deserve some care also. This serum foot mask is easy to use, simply wear it while watching tele and your feet will be soft and nourished.

Oh K! – SOS Soothing Face Lotion. Full size

This is a Korean product designed for blemish-prone skin which calms the redness, reduces swelling and blances oil while hydrating your skin

Birchbox

The box is called “Rethink your Routine” and as usual for Birchbox, there is one full-size product and four sample-sized. I am definitively going to cancel the subscription as the size of the product they include is so small that sometimes you even cannot say if you like or not, you don’t have enough product to know the effects have on your skin.

Marcelle – Hydrating Mask

Refreshing crystalline gel mask that deeply hydrates and renews skin. It contains a blend of hyaluronic acid and Pacific seaweed to leave the skin smooth, refresh and illuminated.

Lise Watier – Illuminating Primer

It is a cream-gel primer with a pearlescent finish to give a soft, radiant glow whether you apply it under your foundation as a primer or on top of it as a highlighter. It comes in a universal shade matching all the complexions.

This Works – Hyaluronic Serum

Youth-boosting serum formulated to target tired-looking skin. Contains hyaluronic acid and brightening slow-release vitamin C to tighten and smooth your complexion.

Dr Botanicals – Strawberry and Poppy Seed Cleansing Bar. Full Size

Ideal for a weekly exfoliation, this bar is formulated with 98% natural ingredients like black poppy seeds and revitalising strawberry.

Amika – Soulfood Nourishing Mask

This mask fights hair split ends and dryness. Packed with vitamin-rich sea buckthorn berry and jojoba oil, this mask hydrates and repairs damaged hair. It is parabens free and doesn’t contain other unwanted chemicals.

Glossybox

Glossybox is most of the times my favourite box. It includes full-size products from very well-know nad good brands. This month the box is called “The Power of Beauty” and they went back to their typical pink design. Glossybox costs £11.75 and through this link you get a 20% off your first box.
